Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy (born June 13 1962) is an American actress. In 1983, following her first movie Bad Boys starring as a Brat Pack member in WarGames in 1983 and The Breakfast Club '85 she was known for being a part of this group. Sheedy was awarded the Independent Spirit Award Best Female Leading for her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy has been an American writer and actor for over twenty years. Her career in film began in the early 1980s when she starred as a crime drama actress, Bad Boys. Rick Rosenthal was the director of this film, with other actors notable, such as Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. Her first success led her to make an appearance in The Breakfast Club, a comedy-drama in 1985. John Hughes' film, directed by him, is one of the most acclaimed high-school movies in history. Despite the budget of $1 million, the movie's earnings exceeded $50 Million. The actress also appeared on various television shows, including CBS Schoolbreak. This was her first TV appearance. From April 1980 it was an adolescent show. The other shows she appeared in include Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues. Her most recent appearances is Little Sister. Another one, X-Men Apocalypse a story that revolves around a female superhero, in which Sheedy is a guest. Sheedy for her amazing performances has been awarded numerous times, including the MTV Movie Award for Silver Bucket of Excellence Award in 2005.
