Meredith Salenger, born March 14, 1970, in Malibu California United States is one of the world's best known and wealthiest actors. Meredith was worth about $5 million at June 1, 2023. The Dawson's creek teen drama with James Van Der Beek featured Meredith in two episodes. The role she played was Lisa Sanders in the TV show Hollywood Heights. By the time she was nine years old, the family of Decker lived in Louisiana which was where she took home a regional talent contest with the song Patsy Montana's "I Would Like to Be A Cowboy's Sweetheart. Decker had relocated to Georgia by the time she reached the age of 15. She was beginning to compose songs and she was making regular visits in Nashville. In search of an agreement, she met with music publishing houses and record labels. She was 17 when she gained the attention of an independent label representative Big Yellow Dog Records who started selling her music to labels and artists. Decker was signed to a deal to sign a deal with Island/Def Jam after Mercury Records President David Massey passed her demos to L.A. Reid, head of Island/Def Jam. On August 9, 2009 Decker made her debut self-titled album under the name Jessie James. Jessie James, which featured Wanted as a hit single within the Top 40 Singles Charts was moderately successful. Decker has always been a "country" musician, however this album is produced and marketed for a pop audience. Decker was adamant with the label to gain more control of her music following two previous singles failed. Her next release, Boys in the Summer was a more traditional album. The second album that Decker released under the titles of Daughter of a Gypsy or Sweet American Dreams was shelved by Mercury and after three singles did poorly on the charts for country. Decker was let go of her contract.
