Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou was born in Beaumont in Puy-de-Domme France on 8 August 1976. She was eldest of four children. Her parents a dental surgeon as well as a teacher recognized and backed her passion for acting and theatre at an early age, which was more important than a desire to become a primatologist due to her obsession with monkeys. Her rise to stardom as a young actress quickly and was accompanied by a rapid rise to fame. The model pursued her career as well as acting and is the model for L'Oreal Mont Blanc and Chanel is often called the Chanel Muse. Alongside her acting career she is also interested in photography. She recently exhibited some pictures during Arles Film Festival. Arles Film Festival under the title Superficial. The photographs she takes is particularly focused on fame and celebrities. The camera is turned to journalists, who have sat and watched the actress in the wake of Amelie's unexpected triumph. Audrey Tautou shot to stardom and international fame with her first role in a major film, in the role of Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie Poulain. Amelie is a huge box office hit internationally and was a cult hit at numerous awards shows across the globe. It is currently the highest-grossing French film in the US. The film's success led to a huge increase in production. Tautou went on to appear in numerous films like British dramatics, such as Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things and Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Long Sunday of fiancailles. Also, she starred with Tom Hanks in Ron Howard's The Da Vinci Code directed by Dan Brown.
